PropertyPack Ireland Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects the following categories of personal data when you use our platform:

  • Personal data: your name, email address, and account type (homebuyer, solicitor, or estate agent) provided during registration.
  • Eircode search data: the Eircodes you search for and the property risk reports generated from those searches.
  • Payment information: billing details processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers.
  • Usage data: anonymised analytics data such as pages visited, time on site, and device type, collected via Vercel Analytics.

How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect for the following purposes:

  • Report generation: to produce your 22-section property risk reports based on the Eircode you provide.
  • Account management: to create and maintain your account, manage subscriptions, and process payments.
  • Service improvement: to analyse usage patterns and improve our platform through aggregated, anonymised analytics.
  • Communication: to send you account-related emails such as receipts, report delivery, and important service updates.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard measures:

  • Our database is hosted on Supabase with servers located within the European Union, ensuring your data remains subject to EU data protection laws.
  • All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest.
  • Payment processing is handled by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified — the highest level of payment security compliance.
  • Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel only, on a need-to-know basis.

Your Rights Under GDPR

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access: you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification: you may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure: you may request deletion of your personal data, subject to any legal obligations we may have to retain certain records.
  • Right to data portability: you may request your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object: you may object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.

Cookies & Tracking

PropertyPack.ie uses a minimal approach to cookies and tracking:

  • Essential cookies: used solely to maintain your session and authentication state. These are strictly necessary for the service to function.
  • Vercel Analytics: we use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymised, aggregated usage data. This service does not use cookies and does not track individual users across sites.

We do not use any third-party advertising cookies or social media tracking pixels.

Third-Party Services

We work with the following third-party providers to deliver our service:

  • Supabase: database hosting and authentication (EU-based servers).
  • Stripe: secure payment processing (PCI DSS Level 1 certified).
  • Vercel: website hosting and anonymised analytics.
  • Public data sources: we source property risk data from official Irish government agencies including the OPW (flood data), EPA (radon, air and water quality), CSO (census and demographics), and local authority planning portals.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

Data Retention

We retain your data in accordance with the following policies:

  • Account data: retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your personal data is permanently removed within 30 days.
  • Property reports: generated reports are retained for 12 months from the date of creation, after which they are automatically deleted.
  • Payment records: transaction records are retained for 6 years as required under Irish tax and accounting legislation.
